Senior Data Engineer - Essex (Hybrid) - Salary £65K (DOE)
I am currently recruiting for a successful, fast growing Insurtech client who have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer. You will be taking the lead on a new exciting project which involves leading the desing and build of a new data platform for reporting and analytics.
The successful applicant will be a skilled Data professional who has strong experience in data modelling, data engineering, and visualisation for business analytics and reporting.
Experience Required:
- Commercial experience in a Data Engineering role - minimum six years
- Strong Data modelling experience (Star Schema / Kimball )
- SQL and Python experience
- Power BI using DAX
- Azure Data Platform experience including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse / Fabric, Databricks, Spark and other data tools
- Stakeholder Management
Desirable:
- Insurance Domain Knowledge
- Machine Learning - Azure ML
- Data governance practices in conjunction with Azure Purview
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer
