Cyber Security Incident Investigator - 12 Month Contract - Belgium, Onsite - NATO Clearance Required

Please note: This role requires NATO Secret Clearance in order to be successful with your application.

Our client based in Mons, Belgium is looking for a Cyber Security Incident Investigator to complete an onsite 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension after the initial contract.

About the Role

As a Cyber Security Incident Investigator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead enterprise-wide Cyber Security Incident Response on the coordination, procedural, technical, risk management and communications aspects.
  • Lead enterprise-wide Vulnerability Management efforts: reviewing new vulnerabilities, identifying vulnerable assets, assessing the exploitability of the vulnerabilities on the enterprise environments, assessing the operational and business impact of a potential exploitation and identifying the mitigation options.
  • Lead the execution of enterprise-wide Defence Cyber Operations in or through cyberspace to preserve friendly freedom of action.
  • Transform cyber strategic objectives in execution plans, including the translation from strategic/operational objectives to technical execution. Lead, track, correct and report on the execution status.
  • Lead and motivate a team composed of different profiles with diverse backgrounds in very tense and difficult situations.
  • Create and maintain a network of cyber security personnel across and beyond the enterprise to facilitate coordination of urgent actions when the need arises.
  • Redact, review and prepare reports, recommendations and presentations to executive level staff, Security Authorities on Cyber Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Management and Defensive Cyber Operations, as well as any other topic related to Cyber Security.
  • Deliver quality briefings on the preceding subjects.

About You

To be successful in this role, the Cyber Security Incident Investigator must possess skills/experience in the following areas:

  • University Degree in IT
  • Cyber Security Experience (8 years)
  • Handling complex Cyber Security incidents (8 years)
  • Management of Vulnerabilities and Cyber Security Protective Measures
  • Certification in Cyber Security Incident Handling
  • Certification in IT Service Management

  • Experience in Risk Management and understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework are a plus, but not essential.
